If iam honest, for write this blog i had to search photographs on the internet because i don´t have a favourite photograph, but while searching for historical photographs, i found one that caught my atention, related to the crisis suffered in germany after the first world war.

the photograph present childrens playing with bales of money during the 1922. Therefore i decided t oread a Little more about it and also asked to my sister (She knows about economy) for to be able to understand the situation that led these childrens to have such a large amount of money without anyone appearing to care.

The bad decisions made after the first world war les to take measure that only served to monetarily devalue the banknotes, so much so that the best use made of them was so that the childrens would have a Good time.

I was searching for who could have taken this picture but found no source, but i think that the photographer wanted to capture and report the terrible situation they were living, the money was thrown on the streets, people made bonfires with this. I feel that all this is demonstrated in photography.

I think it is interesting to learn about this time in Germany because my great grandfather lived there in those years.
